Welcome
“The Law firm Domazet” is a law firm with the longest tradition in Niš and one of the oldest in Serbia. It was founded in February 1928 in Niš. The law firm’s founder is lawyer Borivoje Gojković, the grandfather of lawyer Vladimir Domazet, who, after going through and surviving the Salonika Front, arrived in France where he graduated from the Faculty of Law in Grenoble.
After graduation, he returned to Serbia and opened a law firm, exactly across from the location where it is located today. Later, his son-in-law, lawyer Siniša Domazet who was the first president of the Niš Bar Association, joined him. Then, starting from 1966, lawyer Vladimir Domazet began working with his father Siniša. Vladimir passed the judicial exam in Belgrade and on the day of his oath on October 21, 1969, he was the youngest registered lawyer in the directory of the Bar Association in the former Yugoslavia. Lawyer Siniša Domazet was the first president of the Niš Bar Association after its establishment in 1972, and later, from 1989 to 2001, lawyer Vladimir Domazet was also the president of the Niš Bar Association and vice president of the Bar Association of Serbia for two terms. Lawyer Vladimir Domazet was a member of the Bar Association at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia from its establishment and participated in the defense of numerous defendants during the existence of the war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
During his career, lawyer Vladimir Domazet has received prestigious awards for his professional work and service in the bar association, including plaques and charters from the Bar Associations of Serbia and Yugoslavia, which are the highest honors for lawyers.

His son, Filip Domazet, and daughter-in-law, Miljana Domazet, joined the law firm in 2007 and currently work as lawyers. Lawyer Filip Domazet completed the program for foreign lawyers at the Paris School of Lawyers in 2011, organized by the Paris Bar Association, and underwent an internship at SALANS, the largest French international law firm in Paris.
