Vladimir Domazet
Biography of the President of the Bar Association in Niš and recipients of the plaques
The son of Siniša Domazet – Vladimir, continues the tradition of the family law practice and has achieved the status of an “advocacy dynasty.”
Just like his father had the privilege of being educated in a law office such as Borivoj Gojković, Vladimir Domazet had the same, if not greater, privilege. He acquired his internship and early years of practice in his father’s law office Siniša Domazet. Through his continued professional and honorable work in the legal profession, he demonstrated the richness of training in such a law office and the advantages of starting a career in a law office with such tradition and business development.

He demonstrated his loyalty to the legal profession, instilled by the tradition of advocacy, from the moment he entered the profession. In this regard, he surpassed all his predecessors. There is no organ in the Serbian Bar Association and the Niš Bar Association in which lawyer Vladimir Domazet did not participate. And he continues to selflessly do so to this day.
Therefore, the essential and notable fact here is that all the mentioned members of this “advocacy dynasty” have carried out their legal profession with utmost expertise, honor, and responsibility. Through their work, they have greatly enhanced the professional reputation established by the founder of this “advocacy dynasty,” lawyer Borivoje Gojković. In this spirit, they have raised generations of lawyers who passed through their law office as trainees, and all of them have become exemplary advocates.
Since 1989, Vladimir S. Domazet, a lawyer from Niš, born on March 25, 1944, in Niš, has been elected as the President of the Board of the Basic Bar Association in Niš. He completed his law studies in Niš on June 15, 1966, and passed the judicial exam in Belgrade on November 11, 1968.
He was registered in the Registry of the Serbian Bar Association with Decision No. 1086 dated October 21, 1969, and has been professionally engaged in advocacy ever since. From the establishment of the Bar Association, he has been elected to all the functions of the association’s bodies and has participated in their work, initially as the Secretary of the Basic Bar Association in Niš, and then as the Vice President until 1989.
In 1989, he was elected as the President of the Board of the Basic Bar Association in Niš and held that position until 2001. He was elected as the Vice President of the Serbian Bar Association for two terms. Considering his overall work in the Bar Association and its bodies, he has received numerous plaques and charters. His most recent recognition was the Charter of the Yugoslav Bar Association in 2000.
The Domazet Law Office was and continues to be a true school of advocacy. Numerous esteemed lawyers in Niš acquired practical knowledge in this law office. All members of this “advocacy dynasty” have been highly dedicated and loyal to the legal profession as a guild. This is best evidenced by their engagement and devoted work in the bodies of the bar associations. Both Siniša i Vladimir Domazet have invested tremendous energy into the legal profession, striving for its better organization and integrity.
For their dedication, they received the highest recognition from the legal profession. This “advocacy dynasty” celebrated its 80th anniversary on December 22, 2007, marking the beginning of their work in a new office space on Sinđelić Square in Niš, just 20 meters away from the location of the family house and law office of lawyer Borivoje Gojković, the founder of this “dynasty.” Fortunately for the legal profession, this “dynasty” will continue its work in the fourth generation of the Domazet family. Vladimir Domazet’s son, Filip, a lawyer, and daughter-in-law Miljana, also a lawyer, currently work in this law office, and it is certain that they are the future successors of this “advocacy dynasty.”
