Siniša V. Domazet
Biography of the President of the Bar Association in Niš and recipients of the plaques
The first President of the Basic Bar Association in Niš was Siniša V. Domazet. He was born on March 26, 1916, in Niš. He completed his law studies in Belgrade on February 12, 1938, and passed the judicial exam in Niš on June 4, 1943.

He was registered in the Registry of Lawyers of the Serbian Bar Association with Decision No. 2780 dated October 30, 1943, and was removed from the Registry of Lawyers with Decision No. 137 dated June 30, 1980, due to retirement.
From 1951, he worked in a joint law office with his father-in-law until October 21, 1969. Completing his traineeship and later working as a lawyer in the law office of Borivoje Gojković was a great privilege for lawyer Siniša Domazet.
There was no better place to finish the practical school of advocacy. He made good use of this privilege. Loyalty to the legal profession and the professional experience he gained in Borivoje Gojković’s law office were what every ambitious lawyer could wish for. He maximally utilized them in his professional work for and in the legal profession.
He demonstrated his loyalty to the legal profession through his work in the bodies of the Serbian Bar Association. It was an exceptionally valuable and engaged work deserving of recognition. Lawyer Siniša Domazet practiced law from October 30, 1943, to June 30, 1980, when he was removed from the registry due to retirement. From October 21, 1969, until his retirement, he worked in a joint law office with his son, Vladimir Domazet.
As the first President of the Basic Bar Association in Niš, he participated in the establishment and work of the association’s bodies, as well as in providing office space for its operations.
He particularly stood out in his efforts to equalize the status of the legal profession with other judicial bodies. He was the recipient of Charters and Plaques from the Basic Bar Association of Niš and the Serbian Bar Association.
